President directs IGP to investigate deaths of Ghanaians during 2020/2024 elections

President John Dramani Mahama has requested the office of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to initiate immediate investigations into the tragic deaths of Ghanaian citizens during the 2020/2024 general election. Dr Callistus Mahama, the Executive Secretary to the President, in a letter addressed to the IGP, said those incidents, which occurred in various parts of the country, had left a lasting scar on the nation's democratic process.
