Incheon: Para Youth Sports camp holds opening ceremony

The opening ceremony of the KPC Youth Para Sports Camp was held on Wednesday in Incheon, South Korea. The event, organized by the Korean Paralympic Committee (KPC), is being attended by 60 participants, which include athletes, coaches, and staff from around the world. It starts on the 5th of November and will conclude on November 13, 2024. The program aims at giving the participants the right orientation and exposure to the next Paralympic games which is scheduled to be held in Los Angeles in 2028. Honda signs sponsorship agreement to provide electrified vehicles at World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25

Honda Motor Co Ltd (Honda) has signed a sponsorship agreement with World Athletics ahead of the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 as an official global partner. Based on this sponsorship agreement, Honda will provide vehicles from its electrified fleet as the official transportation at the WCH Tokyo 25, which will start on 13 September 2025. This is the first time Honda has partnered with World Athletics. The World Athletics Championships is the world’s premier track-and-field competition, with athletes from more than 200 countries and territories set to participate at the championships taking place in the National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan for nine days from 13-21 September 2025. As the countdown to the World Athletics Awards 2024 continues, the finalists for the Athlete of the Year honours have been confirmed. The top two leading athletes in each category – track, field and out of stadium – have been chosen from the first round of voting, which comprised votes from the World Athletics Council, World Athletics Family and a public vote on social media. Provisional squads for CAF Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024

In line with the regulations for the CAF Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024, the eight (8) participating clubs have finalized their squads for the tournament.  Following a decision by the CAF Women’s Football Organising Committee, the clubs are permitted a final squad of 26 players instead of the initial 21 players. The full qualification system, along with the ‘road to’ tracking tool, has been published for the World Athletics Indoor Championships Nanjing 25. The timetable, qualifying window and standards were approved at the World Athletics Council Meeting at the end of July. The qualification systemis based on a dual pathway, with 50% of athletes qualifying through entry standards and the remaining 50% qualifying through top lists. Qualifying performances must be achieved within the qualifying window, 1 September 2024 to 9 March 2025. The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has released the final schedule for the CAF Women's Champions League, Morocco 2024. The fourth edition of Africa’s premier women’s club tournament will take place from 09 to 23 November in the cities of El Jadida and Casablanca, Morocco. The opening game will feature DR Congo’s TP Mazembe and South Africa debutantes the University of the Western Cape on Saturday, 09 November at 15h00 local time (14h00 GMT).
