Dr Randy Abbey, Stephen Appiah others forms new Black Stars Management Committee

The Football Association  is pleased to announce the formation of a new Management Committee for the Senior Male National Team, the Black Stars. The Committee, which is tasked with overseeing the administrative and logistical aspects of the team, will be chaired by Dr. Randy Abbey, an Executive Council member of the GFA. In addition to chairing the Committee, Dr. Abbey shall lead engagement with Government and other stakeholders. Mr. Stephen Appiah, a former Captain of the Black Stars, will serve as Vice-Chairman, supporting Dr. Abbey, while also focusing on Player Relations.   Alidu Seidu undergoes successful surgery after rupturing cruciate ligament 

Black Stars defender Alidu Seidu has undergone a successful surgery after rupturing his cruciate ligament on November, 2025.  The Stade Rennes defender suffered a season-ending injury during his side's Ligue 1 match against Lille.  Seidu was stretched off the field in the 17th minute after landing awkwardly, resulting in a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee.  A statement on Stade Rennes' website said: "Alidu Seidu underwent surgery on Monday in Paris after rupturing the cruciate ligament in his left knee against LOSC on Matchday 12 of Ligue 1.      "The operation went well for the Ghanaian international. 32 Players invited for camping as Black Galaxies prepares for Nigeria qualifiers

Head Coach of the Black Galaxies, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has named a 32-man squad for the upcoming pre-CHAN qualifiers training camp ahead of the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria The camp, which will run from Monday, November 25, 2024, will be held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, as the team gears up for a crucial two-legged qualifier against Nigeria in December. The camping will see the players undergo intensive training which will include tactical drills, fitness sessions and training matches. After the second week of camping between December 1-5, the team will break camp for the National elections and resume camping from December 8.
