Black Stars Announce Squad for Japan and South Korea Friendlies in November

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced the Black Stars squad for their upcoming international friendlies against Japan and South Korea in November 2025.

Ghana will first face Japan on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi, with kickoff scheduled for 10:00 AM Ghana time (7:00 PM Japan time). The team will then travel to South Korea to take on the KFA side on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, also at 10:00 AM Ghana time (7:00 PM South Korea time).

These matches are expected to serve as key preparation games for Ghana’s upcoming World Cup and AFCON qualifiers, giving the technical team a chance to assess both local and foreign-based talents.

The selection features a strong mix of local and European-based players, with notable inclusions such as Antoine Semenyo, Mohammed Salisu, and Kamaldeen Sulemana bringing top-flight experience to the squad.

Local stars Prince Owusu and Kelvin Nkrumah from Medeama SC also earned call-ups, highlighting the coaching staff’s continued commitment to integrating homegrown talent into the national setup.

Ghana’s head coach is expected to use these two high-profile fixtures to fine-tune tactics and assess player chemistry ahead of competitive fixtures in 2026.
