Black Stars Outline Full Program Ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the Black Stars’ official schedule as the team prepares for the final two rounds of the FIFA World Cup 2026 African qualifiers. Ghana will face the Central African Republic in Morocco on Wednesday, October 8, before returning home to take on Comoros in Accra on Sunday, October 12.

According to the program, players are expected to arrive in camp on Sunday, October 5, after which training sessions will be held in Morocco on October 6 and October 7. The team’s mandatory MD-1 training will take place at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes on Tuesday, October 7, ahead of the crucial clash against Central African Republic the following day at 4:00 pm.

Following the match, the Black Stars will undergo recovery training in Morocco on Thursday, October 9, before flying back to Ghana to continue preparations. The team will train at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, October 10 at 5:30 pm.

On Saturday, October 11, head coach and selected players will address the media at a pre-match press conference scheduled for 5:00 pm, before holding another training session at 5:30 pm. The first 15 minutes of this training will be open to the media.

The qualifying campaign will conclude on Sunday, October 12, when Ghana hosts Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium under the floodlights at 7:00 pm.

The Black Stars will be looking to secure maximum points from both fixtures as they aim to book their place at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
