Veteran Gospel Musician Yaw Sarpong Passes On

Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Yaw Sarpong has passed away. He died on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Emena Hospital in Kumasi, where he had been receiving medical care. The sad news was confirmed by his manager, Nana Poku Ashis, bringing to an end years of public concern about the musician’s health.
