Police Arrest Suspect for Inciting Comments That Threaten Public Peace
The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with inciteful comments believed to pose a threat to public peace and security in Bawku and its surrounding communities.
The suspect, identified as Raphael Azare Kariyama, was apprehended through an intelligence-led operation aimed at monitoring and curbing the spread of content that incites violence or undermines public order and national security.
According to the Police, the arrest forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure calm and stability in the Bawku area, following heightened concerns over the use of inflammatory language capable of escalating tensions.
