Election 2024: EC Recruits About 210,000 Officers, Ballot Papers Distributed To Police Armouries

As Ghana approaches its highly anticipated December elections, the Electoral Commission (EC) says it has made significant progress in its preparations. At a meeting with the National Election Security Taskforce the Chairperson of the Commission indicated that ballot papers have been distributed to Police Regional Armouries in all but three regions, with plans in place to complete distribution by the end of the day.  In addition, Biometric Verification Devices (BVDs) have already been sent to eight regions, with the remaining devices expected to be delivered by the weekend.
