New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has called on Ghanaians from all walks of life to unite in prayer and thanksgiving as the nation steps into the year 2026.
In a statement shared to announce the upcoming Ken’s National Praise 2026, Mr. Agyapong emphasized the importance of faith, unity, and humility in national leadership, noting that Ghana’s true strength lies not only in hard work but also in collective belief and togetherness.
“As we step into 2026, we do so with a profound realization: our strength as a people lies not just in our hard work, but in our faith and our unity,” he stated.

The NPP flagbearer hopeful expressed appreciation to his team for organizing what he described as a “sacred moment” for reflection, adding that leadership must begin with humility before God.
Mr. Agyapong extended an open invitation to all Ghanaians—mothers, fathers, the youth, and the elderly—to participate in the national praise event, urging citizens to put aside political, social, and personal differences in the spirit of gratitude and national cohesion.
The event, themed “United in Praise” and inspired by Psalm 150:6, is scheduled to take place on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the First Love Church, UPSA, in Accra.
Quoting scripture, Mr. Agyapong reaffirmed his optimism about the nation’s future, declaring, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Ghana’s best days are ahead of us.”
Ken’s National Praise 2026 is expected to bring together religious leaders, supporters, and members of the general public in a moment of worship and national reflection as Ghana begins the new year.
