Ghana Condemns Ill-Treatment of Citizens at Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport
The Government of Ghana has expressed strong protest and deep concern over what it describes as the ill-treatment of Ghanaian nationals by Israeli authorities at the Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv.
In an official statement issued on Tuesday, the government said it has observed with grave concern that since Sunday, December 7, 2025, Ghanaian travellers arriving in Israel have allegedly been deliberately targeted and subjected to inhumane and traumatic treatment at the airport.
According to the statement, seven Ghanaian nationals were detained at the airport without justifiable cause on the day in question.
