JUSAG Holds Maiden AGM, Launches JUSCOFund at Law Court Complex

The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) reached a major milestone on Thursday, December 4, 2025, as the association held its maiden Annual General Meeting (AGM) and officially launched the Judicial Service Cooperative Fund (JUSCOFund). The ceremony took place at the Law Court Complex Auditorium in Accra.

The event drew key stakeholders from across the justice sector. Among the dignitaries present were the Chief Justice, His Lordship Paul Baffoe-Bonnie; senior government officials; Justices of the Superior Courts; and management and staff of the Judicial Service.

Patrick Yaw Boamah, Chairman of Parliament’s Subsidiary Legislation Committee, attended the ceremony in his official capacity. He noted that the Committee played a pivotal role in developing the Regulations governing the Terms and Conditions of Service for Judicial Service staff — a foundation for improving welfare and strengthening institutional structures.

This year’s AGM was held under the theme “Securing the Financial Future of Judicial Workers Through Financial Cooperatives.” The launch of the JUSCOFund represents a significant step toward enhancing financial security, promoting savings, and supporting the long-term economic wellbeing of Judicial Service workers.

The gathering, marked by thoughtful deliberations and strong stakeholder engagement, signaled a renewed commitment to empowering staff and advancing the administration of justice in Ghana.
