Ghana Embassy in Doha Issues Urgent Security Alert to Nationals in Qatar

The Embassy of Ghana in Doha has issued an urgent security advisory to all Ghanaians residing in Qatar, urging them to immediately take shelter following reports of missile attacks and heightened regional tensions.

In a public notice released by the Embassy, nationals have been advised to remain indoors until further notice and to rely solely on official sources for updates and instructions.

The advisory follows what the Embassy described as a missile attack and its impact in Doha, raising security concerns across the city and surrounding areas.

The Embassy strongly urged Ghanaians to:

  • Stay away from military installations and security-sensitive areas
  • Avoid crowded public spaces
  • Keep essential supplies, including medication and food, readily available

The statement emphasized the importance of minimizing exposure to potential danger as authorities assess the evolving security situation.
