Sampson Eduku: Former Samartex Forward Joins Asante Kotoko

Ghana premier league giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of experienced forward Sampson Eduku on a one-and-a-half-year contract. The 29-year-old striker brings a wealth of experience to the Porcupine Warriors, having previously played for Samartex and Tamale City. During the 2022/23 season with Tamale City, Eduku was sinscintillating form, netting 14 goals and providing 4 assists. His impressive performances earned him a move to Iraqi Premier League side Al Quwa Al Jawiya, where he further showcased his goal-scoring prowess. The Confédération Africaine de Football ("CAF") and CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL, under the banner of CANAL+ University, have entered into a strategic partnership to develop training programmes in the field of sports journalism for young African talent. CAF increases the Prize Money by 75% of the Winner of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 and the total Prize Money of the CHAN by 32 %

The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) announced today that the Prize Money of the Winner of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 has been increased by 75% and the Winner will now receive USD 3.5 million. CAF also announced that the total Prize Money of the CHAN Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 has been increased to USD 10.4 million which is an increase of 32%.
