The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has led a high-powered delegation to Bawku following a violent clash between some youth and the police that left one person dead and several others injured. The delegation, which includes officers from operations, investigations, and intelligence units, is in the Upper East town to gain first-hand insight into the security situation and to assess the needs on the ground. Five Arrested for Illegal Mining in Central North Region

Nigerian hairdresser sentenced to five years for trafficking women

The Central Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the transportation of electricity cables believed to belong to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
