Vice President Calls for Stronger EU-Ghana Security Partnership Amid Regional Tensions
Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to deepening its strategic partnership with the European Union to promote peace and stability across the sub-region.
Speaking on recent security developments, the Vice President acknowledged the EU’s continued support to Ghana through key initiatives such as the European Peace Facility and the EU Security and Defence Initiative. These programs have collectively supported more than 30 security-related projects in Ghana, covering areas including conflict prevention, counterterrorism, border management, maritime security, and cybersecurity.
