POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN CONNECTION WITH MURDER AT SORONKO FARMS

The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of Enoch Obiri, aged 56, which occurred at Soronko Farms near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region. The suspect, identified as Eric Kenny, is alleged to have attacked the deceased on 13th February 2026, inflicting multiple stab wounds on parts of his body, including the left arm and abdomen. Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect had allegedly issued threats to the deceased on several occasions over a suspected amorous relationship involving his wife. He was also reported to have been seen in the area on the day of the incident. He is currently in Police custody assisting investigations and will be put before court.
