Police arrest four more suspects over murder of Jirapa Dubai CEO

Four more suspects have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the murder of the Chief Executive Officer of the Cossy Hill Hotel (Jirapa Dubai) at Jirapa in the Upper West Region. The renowned businessman Eric Johnson was found dead in a pool of blood in one of his hotel rooms on Sunday, February 11. The Upper West Regional Crime Scene Management Team was immediately deployed to the scene, leading to the arrest of one Kumbata Kwaku, who was suspected to be involved in the murder. Businesswoman Charged with Attempted Murder and Property Damage in Love Triangle Dispute

A 36-year-old businesswoman, Nduta Wangai, is facing charges of attempted murder and malicious damage to property after allegedly attempting to run over her boyfriend's wife, Rebecca Ngumi, during a heated confrontation over a man and a shared residence. The incident occurred on January 5, 2024, at Ridgeways estate in Starehe Sub-county, Nairobi. Ms. Wangai is accused of damaging Ms. Ngumi's property, including the gate, garage wall, and a Mercedes Benz vehicle valued at Sh1 million. Abesim Murder: Accused pleads not guilty two counts of murder

Richard Appiah, a draughtsman, accused of killing two minors and keeping their bodies in a refrigerator, at Abesim near Sunyani, has pleaded not guilty before an Accra High Court.  Appiah denied killing two minors namely Louis Agyemang 12 and Stephen Sarpong 15. He is facing two counts of murder. At the High Court on Friday, a seven-member jury was empaneled and sworn in while his counsel and State Attorney took turns to address the court. The police have arrested 12 members of an organized crime syndicate for their alleged involvement in carjacking, robbery, and murder. Police arrest one suspect and pursue two others for Murder

The Police on June 16, 2022, arrested John Adonu, a welder, for his suspected involvement in the murder of an 85 year old man, Joseph Tawiah Darko in Kpetoe, in the Volta Region. The 85-year old deceased, was reported missing on June 14, 2022, after he had left home on the 13th June and did not return. On June 15, 2022, his decapitated body was found under a tree on his farm. The body has since been deposited at the Ho Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy. Investigations are ongoing and efforts are being made to arrest two others whose names have come up in the investigations and are suspected to be linked to the murder.
