The Director-General of the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), has paid an informal visit to Family Health University (FHU), to observe the institution’s progress since receiving its Presidential Charter. Police Hospital overwhelmed amid nationwide nurses’ strike

The Ghana Police Hospital is under intense pressure following the nationwide strike by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), which began on June 4, 2025. A visit observed hundreds of patients waiting for medical care at the Out-Patients Department (OPD), Emergency Unit, and Labour Ward. All beds were occupied, with some patients receiving treatment in chairs. Medical staff have extended their working hours from 0700 to 1500 hours to 0700 to 2000 hours to cope with rising patient numbers. Alhaji Agongo fulfills GH₵500,000 pledge to Ghana Medical Trust Fund

Alhaji Seidu Agongo, Chief Executive Officer of Alive Industries, has presented a Cheque for GH₵500,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund through the Ministry of Health.  The donation is a pledge he made during the launch of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund by President John Dramani Mahama. Government commits to improve condition of service of health workers-Minister

Madam Charity Gardner, the Ahafo Regional Minister has assured the government’s commitment to better the condition of service of health workers serving in the deprived communities nationwide.
