Kumasi-based giants Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have announced the appointment of an eight-member communications team, with immediate effect, as part of efforts to strengthen the club’s media engagement and fan outreach.

The newly constituted team will primarily focus on match promotions and the club’s fan engagement initiative, the “Fabu Census” project, aimed at deepening interaction with Kotoko supporters across the country and beyond.

All members of the team will work directly under the instructions and guidance of the Club’s Director of Communications, ensuring a coordinated and strategic approach to the club’s communication activities.

The appointed members are:

  • Seth Nii Darko
  • Adu Acheampong
  • George Forson
  • Anthony Twum Barima
  • Kwame Akosa
  • Prince Sackey Alimoh
  • Ransford Obeng Marfo
  • Emmanuel Asiedu

The move underscores Asante Kotoko SC’s commitment to enhancing its media presence, improving matchday publicity, and building a stronger connection with its vast fan base, popularly known as the Porcupine Warriors’ faithful.

Club officials believe the team’s work will play a key role in boosting visibility for matches and ensuring the success of the Fabu Census initiative, which is expected to provide valuable data to support future fan-centered programs.

Asante Kotoko SC continues to implement strategic reforms both on and off the pitch as the club positions itself for sustained growth and competitiveness.
