Police restore calm after irate youth attack nsuaem police station
Calm has been restored at Nsuaem in the Western Region after a violent attack on the Nsuaem Police Station by an angry mob on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
According to the Western Central Regional Police Command, the incident began when a group of about fifteen men, accompanied by two children aged seven and five, brought a suspect, Sulley Moses, aged 25, to the police station. The group alleged that they had seen the suspect conversing with the children near the Nivo Filling Station and suspected he was attempting to lure them away.
Police say they detained the suspect after one of the children confirmed that he had forcibly held the hand of one of them as they tried to leave.
