Police Outline Approved Uniforms for Private Security Operators Nationwide
The Director-General of the Private Security Organizations has officially notified the general public and all private security operators of the approved uniform specifications permitted for use across Ghana, in accordance with Regulation 12 of the Police Service (Private Security Organizations) Regulations, 1992 (LI 1571).
According to the directive, only specific uniform combinations are authorized for private security personnel. These include:
A white long- or short-sleeve shirt worn over ash khaki trousers with white stripes on both sides.
A cream long- or short-sleeve shirt paired with brown khaki trousers featuring cream stripes on both sides.
A mauve long- or short-sleeve shirt worn with maroon trousers that have mauve stripes on both sides.
