GIS Arrests 93 Nigerians in Devtraco Estate Anti-Fraud Raid, Rescues 73 Victims

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has arrested 93 Nigerian nationals suspected of engaging in internet fraud and immigration offences during a major intelligence-led operation at Devtraco Estate. The suspects, made up of 91 males and two females, were picked up during a coordinated raid on six residential buildings within the estate, which authorities say were being used as operational bases for online fraud activities. GIS Schedules Repatriation of Ex-Convicts Involved in Illegal QNET Operations

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has commenced the repatriation process for eight foreign nationals who were convicted for their involvement in illegal QNET-related activities in the country. The individuals were arrested in August 2025 and subsequently convicted on 9th September 2025 after due process. They completed six-month custodial sentences at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison and have since been transferred to the Immigration Service Holding Centre in Accra, where they are being held lawfully pending deportation. Two Immigration Officers Shot in Tempani District-One Dead, One Injured

A tragic incident has struck the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) after two of its officers were shot by unknown assailants at Nangani in the Tempani District of the Upper East Region on Sunday night.
