Beauty Queen pledges to promote Ga-Dangme languages
Ms Helena Adikie Ozor, winner of the GaDangme beauty pageant, dubbed: “GaDangme Bi Yo 2024”, has pledged her commitment to promoting the indigenous language through reading competitions among the youth of the Ga and Dangme states.
She said education of the girl-child was another project she would focus on.
Ms Ozor, with the stage name Naana Adiki, said this during a welcome durbar organised by the Ada State in her honour after emerging as the winner.
She said the reading competition would be organised among students in all states of Ga and Dangme to rekindle their reading interests and make the local language attractive.
