Vice President Commends Launch of Adwumawura Programme to Empower 10,000 Youth Entrepreneurs
Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has hailed the Adwumawura Programme as a groundbreaking initiative that is redefining entrepreneurship and innovation in Ghana.
Speaking at the onboarding and orientation event held at the University of Ghana, the Vice President underscored the programme’s ambition to transform the entrepreneurial landscape by equipping young Ghanaians with the resources, training, and environment needed to thrive.
Launched in April 2025 as a flagship initiative of President John Dramani Mahama, the Adwumawura Programme is spearheaded by the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), under the leadership of Mr. Eric Adjei, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment led by Hon. George Opare Addo.
