The Noble Care Foundation (NCF), a women and children focused not-for-profit organisation, has engaged stakeholders in the Upper West Region on issues of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) in the 2024 general election. The engagement, on the theme: “Advancing Gender Responsive Governance and Inclusive Democracy in Ghana in the Context of Election 2024,” was organised by the NCF under the auspices of the Network for Women’s Rights in Ghana (NETRIGHT). EC says it’s ready for special voting, December poll

The Electoral Commission (EC) in the Krachi West Constituency of the Oti Region has announced its preparedness ahead of the upcoming special voting on Monday, and the general elections on December 7. Election 2024: EC Recruits About 210,000 Officers, Ballot Papers Distributed To Police Armouries

As Ghana approaches its highly anticipated December elections, the Electoral Commission (EC) says it has made significant progress in its preparations. At a meeting with the National Election Security Taskforce the Chairperson of the Commission indicated that ballot papers have been distributed to Police Regional Armouries in all but three regions, with plans in place to complete distribution by the end of the day.  In addition, Biometric Verification Devices (BVDs) have already been sent to eight regions, with the remaining devices expected to be delivered by the weekend.
