Stanbic Bank Ghana Donates to National Chief Imam to Support Ramadan Activities

Impact is most meaningful when it strengthens community, faith and unity at the same time. In line with this belief, Stanbic Bank Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to social inclusion by making a cash donation and presenting assorted food items to support activities during the holy month of Ramadan.

As part of the gesture, a delegation from the bank paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, at his residence in Fadama, Accra. The visit reflects the bank’s longstanding support for faith-based institutions and the communities they serve across the country.

Speaking during the visit, the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at Stanbic Bank Ghana, Musah Abdallah, commended the Chief Imam for his consistent leadership and dedication to promoting peace and national cohesion. He emphasized that stability remains the bedrock of sustainable economic growth and national development.

According to him, partnerships between corporate institutions and religious leaders are essential in fostering unity and driving inclusive progress. He added that the bank remains committed to initiatives that promote social harmony and community development.

In response, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu expressed sincere appreciation for the gesture, describing the support as timely and spiritually significant for the Muslim community, particularly during Ramadan. He noted that such acts of generosity reinforce solidarity and compassion, values that are central to the holy month.

The donation forms part of Stanbic Bank Ghana’s broader corporate social responsibility efforts aimed at empowering communities and strengthening social bonds nationwide.
