Patrick Yaw Boamah supports 41 tertiary students with educational grants

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, has extended financial support to 41 tertiary students within his constituency as part of efforts to promote education and ease the financial burden on promising young people.

The brief presentation ceremony took place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the MP’s residence in Tesano, where the beneficiaries received cheques to help cover their tuition fees.

Mr. Boamah described the gesture as an investment in the dreams and future leadership of the constituency, stressing that financial challenges should not hinder the academic progress of hardworking students.

“Education remains one of the most powerful tools for transformation, and I am committed to ensuring that brilliant young people in Okaikwei Central are not held back by financial barriers,” he said.

He added that supporting students forms part of his broader mission to expand access to opportunities and build a stronger, more empowered community.

The event was attended by key constituency executives, including the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Nii Ashie, Youth Organizer, Dennis Asare, and Youth Wing Secretary, Gilbert Boadi, whose involvement he acknowledged as vital to sustaining the community-focused initiative.

The MP reaffirmed his dedication to championing educational development within Okaikwei Central, describing the support scheme as an ongoing commitment to uplifting the constituency’s youth.
