Funeral For Late Ayawaso East MP Naser Toure Mahama Set for Today

A sombre mood has descended on the Ayawaso East constituency as residents, political figures, and family members gather today, Monday, January 5, to bid farewell to their Member of Parliament, Naser Toure Mahama. The veteran lawmaker passed away on Sunday, January 4, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness. In keeping with Islamic tradition, his burial rites are being held within 24 hours of his passing, drawing thousands of mourners to the Nima and Kanda areas.
