Boakye Agyarko Donates Ramadan Items to Muslim Communities, Commends NPP Readiness in Ayawaso East

Former Energy Minister and aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Boakye Kyeremanteng Agyarko, has donated bags of rice, sugar, and boxes of disposable cups to support Muslim communities ahead of the Ramadan fasting period (Sawm).

The items were presented at the party’s headquarters through the National Nasara Coordinator as part of efforts to support Muslim faithful preparing for the holy month. Mr. Agyarko noted that Islamic teachings emphasize compassion and communal support, adding that even those unable to pay Fidya can still earn spiritual reward by assisting others during Ramadan.

In a related engagement, Mr. Agyarko also visited the party’s office in the Nima-Ayawaso East Constituency, where he made a similar donation ahead of the upcoming parliamentary by-election.

During the visit, he commended the preparedness of the party’s candidate, Baba Ali, describing the campaign as well-organized and strongly supported by constituency executives and the wider party structure.

Mr. Agyarko, a former Vice President at the , served as the NPP’s Campaign Manager in the 2012 elections and later as a Policy Adviser before becoming Minister for Energy. His recent outreach forms part of ongoing engagement with party supporters and community groups nationwide.
