Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang Extends Easter Message to Ghanaians

Accra, Ghana — As Easter celebrations sweep across Ghana and the world, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has shared a heartfelt message of peace, unity, and reflection with the Ghanaian people.

In her message, the Vice President extended warm wishes to all Christians and citizens marking the resurrection of Christ, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the season. “As Christians across Ghana and the world mark the celebration of Easter, I extend my warmest wishes to everybody,” she stated.

She called on the nation to use the Easter period as a time to reignite collective values and a sense of purpose, encouraging Ghanaians to recommit to building a society that is inclusive and compassionate. “May this season reawaken in us the conviction to build a kinder, fairer nation — one that listens, uplifts, and holds space for every voice,” Prof. Opoku-Agyemang emphasized.

The message, which comes at a time of both national reflection and celebration, was concluded with a sincere wish for a peaceful Easter: “I wish all Ghanaians a meaningful and peaceful Easter.”
