IGP Deploys Reinforcement Teams and Armoured Vehicles to Nalerigu
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) has deployed reinforcement teams and armoured vehicles to Nalerigu and surrounding communities in the North East Region following recent security disturbances in the area.
The deployment comes after some youth allegedly set two houses ablaze in the regional capital, Nalerigu, and issued threats to burn more houses and attack residents. The police intervention is aimed at restoring calm, protecting lives and property, and strengthening security in the affected communities.
