Chalice Royal Ladies supports New Horizon Foundation of the Blind
Chalice Royal Ladies, a women social group based in Ho in the Volta Region has donated some items to New Horizon Foundation of the Blind.
The items included bags of rice, cooking oil, tin tomatoes, beans, soup and soft drinks and biscuits.
Madam Ida Ama Odzor, the President of the company, told Ghana News Agency that the donation is part of their social duties, as well as a celebration of Dr Kwame Nkrumah's birthday.
She advised parents to provide their disabled children with equal opportunity and help them in their education so that they can reach their full potential
Madam Odzor stated that persons with disabilities have significant potential that society should capitalise on in order to advance socioeconomic growth.
