Kwahu South NCCE educates SHS first-time voters on peaceful elections

The Kwahu South Municipal Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has organised an educational outreach programme for first-time voters in second cycle schools in the district. The NCCE team visited the Bepong Senior High School and the Kwahu Ridge Senior High School where students were educated on the voting process and the importance of maintaining peace during the elections. Speaking at the event, Ms. Ticklar Asante-Asiamah, the Municipal NCCE Director, said the programme was aimed at promoting a peaceful and informed 2024 election. Embrace democracy with respect – NCCE

The Birim Central Municipal office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), has entreated Ghanaians to embrace the existing democratic dispensation with utmost respect. Madam Rejoice Biscoff, the Birim Central Municipal Director of NCCE, said democracy ensured that government decision-making was more inclusive, diverse and accountable because it invited more representative groups of people. Allow national interest to supersede political party interest, NCCE urges youth

Mr Samuel Asare Akuamoah, the Deputy Chairperson of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), has urged the youth to allow national interest to supersede their political party interest ahead of the December 7 polls.
