Volta Police Intercept 26 Sacks of Suspected Narcotic Drugs in Ho
The Volta Regional Police Command has intercepted twenty-six (26) sacks of substances suspected to be narcotic drugs following a well-coordinated intelligence-led operation in Ho.
According to the Police, the operation was initiated after intelligence was received on January 23, 2026, indicating that a white American Ford wagon bearing Ghana Health Service inscriptions had been loaded with suspected narcotics at Dzolokpuita and was heading towards Ho.
A combined team from the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (DLEU), Police Intelligence Directorate (PID), and the Regional Criminal Investigations Department (CID) was immediately deployed for surveillance.
