POLICE ARREST THREE IN NARCOTICS BUST IN ACCRA
The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in a targeted anti-narcotics operation within the Accra metropolis, intensifying efforts to clamp down on illegal drug activities.
According to a police statement, the operation was initiated following credible intelligence received on 10th April 2026 by the Special Operations Assistant to the Inspector General of Police. The intelligence indicated that a group of individuals were planning to engage in the sale of suspected narcotic drugs at Dzorwulu, a suburb of Accra.
Acting swiftly on the information, a surveillance operation was mounted, leading to a coordinated police action on 11th April 2026. A team of officers proceeded to the location and successfully apprehended two suspects identified as Bright Ayivor and Ifeanyi Ijeoba....
