Ghanaians in Qatar Advised to Stay Indoors as Security Situation Forces Airspace Closure
Ghanaian residents and visitors in the State of Qatar have been urged to remain indoors and strictly adhere to safety guidelines issued by Qatari authorities as the country experiences a heightened security situation.
In a public advisory, the Embassy of Ghana in Doha called on all Ghanaian nationals to monitor official announcements and comply with directives from Qatar’s security agencies while the situation unfolds.
According to the advisory, the Qatari Ministry of Interior has instructed all residents and visitors to stay indoors or seek the nearest safe building or designated shelter. Movement outside homes is discouraged except in cases of extreme necessity.
