Banda, Mssoudy and Nnadozie, Africa will crown a new queen
Who will take over from Nigeria legend Asisat Oshoala and become the 11th different winner of the CAF Women’s Player of the Year Award, earning the crown of Queen of African football?
The answer will be revealed on Monday when the prestigious 2024 CAF Awards ceremony is held at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco from 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT/ 20h00 Cairo time/ 21h00 East African time).
After a rigorous voting process, the final three nominees for Women’s Player of the Year can be revealed with Zambia striker Barbra Banda, Morocco forward Sanaâ Mssoudy and Nigeria goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie still in the running.
These three outstanding players shone throughout the year and in their own way have embodied the excellence and passion of African football.
