The Ghana Police Service has refuted widespread speculation suggesting that the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has passed away.
In a statement, the Service described the reports as completely false, stressing that the IGP is alive, in good health, and actively performing his official duties.
The Police further urged officers, relatives, and the general public to disregard the unfounded claims.

They also issued a strong warning to individuals circulating such malicious and irresponsible misinformation, reminding them that the dissemination of false information is a criminal offense and offenders will face the law when identified.
