The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has revealed the details of the draw procedure for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), Morocco 2024. The draw will be conducted on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Salé, starting at 20h00 local time (19h00 GMT). The prestigious tournament will bring together Africa’s top 12 teams, and they will be divided into three groups of four. The media accreditation application window for the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 is officially open. The accreditation window will close on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. The eighth edition of the  TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship will take place in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania between 01 – 28 February 2025. The three finalists for the Photograph of the Year award have been selected ahead of the World Athletics Awards 2024. From the 114 images that were submitted, a panel of judges – comprising Valerie Adams, Raquel Cavaco Nunes, Mathieu Forget, Pascal Rondeau and Christian Taylor – narrowed the entries to 11 shortlisted images before deciding on the three finalists.
