Aduana Stars Condemns Hooliganism After Violent Nsoatreman-Kotoko Clash

Aduana Stars has strongly condemned the acts of hooliganism that overshadowed the Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko at Nana Koramansah Park. The club expressed deep concern over the violent incidents, which resulted in injuries, property damage, and the tragic death of a Kotoko supporter.

In a statement, Aduana Stars emphasised the need for unity and discipline in Ghanaian football, urging all stakeholders to take decisive action against hooliganism. Football is a game of passion, but it should never lead to violence,” the club stated, calling for an end to fan aggression that threatens the safety of players, officials, and supporters.

The club extended its condolences to the family of the deceased and expressed solidarity with Asante Kotoko during this difficult time. They also called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and law enforcement agencies to investigate the incident thoroughly and ensure that those responsible face the necessary consequences.

Aduana Stars reiterated the importance of maintaining a safe and competitive football environment, where teams can play without fear of intimidation or harm. They urged clubs to educate their supporters on sportsmanship and responsible behaviour at stadiums.
