The Ghana Police Service, through the Anti-Armed Robbery Unit (AARU) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), has arrested a suspect believed to be connected to a series of violent robberies and murders targeting taxi drivers within the Greater Accra Region. The suspect, identified as Peter Akakpo, alias Dompe, was apprehended on 13th October 2025 at Kasoa-Domeabra following weeks of sustained intelligence gathering and surveillance.
