NAC Breda Strengthen Squad with Experienced Forward André Ayew

In their battle for survival in the Vrienden Loterij Eredivisie, NAC Breda have added André Ayew (36) to their squad. The experienced French-Ghanaian forward has signed a contract until the end of the current season, with a club option for an additional year in Breda. Ayew turned down several (lucrative) opportunities in recent months after being without a club since last summer. His last competitive matches were played in May 2025 with Le Havre. During this period, Ayew maintained his fitness at Nania FC, the club owned by his father and African football legend Abédi Pelé.
