Wa-Bolgatanga Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana marks its first anniversary
The Wa-Bolgatanga Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana has marked the first anniversary of the Diocese with a thanksgiving service and carols to recognise the faithfulness of God in seeing the Diocese through one year of its existence.
The anniversary was observed across the Diocese under the theme, “One Year of Celebrating God’s Goodness,” on the fourth Sunday of Advent, which was on the theme: “The Uniqueness of Christmas,” drawn from Isaiah 7:14.
The anniversary service was premised on the scripture, Isaiah 7:14: “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Emmanuel.”
