President Mahama Visits Injured GAF Recruitment Applicants

President and Commander-in-Chief (C-in-C) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), John Dramani Mahama, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, paid a visit to injured applicants of the ongoing 2025/2026 GAF recruitment exercise at the 37 Military Hospital. The visit followed the unfortunate stampede at the El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra, which claimed six lives and left several others with varying degrees of injuries before the commencement of the exercise. The Minority Caucus in Parliament has formally written to the Presidency requesting information on the current status of a petition calling for the removal of Supreme Court Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie. The request, made under Article 21(1)(f) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 18 of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2019 (Act 989), was signed by Hon.
