La-Nkwantanang gets newly constructed District Police Headquarters
The La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly has inaugurated a newly constructed District Police Headquarters at Ayi Mensah in Accra.
The edifice, with air-conditioners in all offices, has a reception, four washrooms, eight offices and an ultra-modern conference room.
Madam Jennifer Dede Adjabeng, La-Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Chief Executive, in an address said the provision of the offices was to promote smooth police operation and administration in the area tohelp curb all acts of lawlessness and criminality.
She emphasized the importance of peace and security in a democratic society to ensure that citizens go about their daily routines without any impediments.
