The media accreditation application window for the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Morocco 2025 is officially open. The accreditation window will close on Thursday, 27 February, 2025. The TotalEnergies CAF U-17 AFCON will take place in Morocco between 30 March – 19 April, 2025. Media interested in covering the competition can apply via the CAF Media Channel.  All applications are subject to confirmation. Confirmation will NOT be on a first-come, first-served basis. The CAF Disciplinary Board has released a verdict on the matters involving the Federación Ecuatoguineana de Fútbol ("FEGUIFUT") and the Fédération Congolaise de Football ("FECOFOOT") following the complaint filed by Equatorial Guinea on their TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 Qualifier home and away matches. The matches were played as follows on 21 December (match no 1: Equatorial Guinea vs Congo) and 29 December (match no 2: Congo vs Equatorial Guinea). CAF increases the Prize Money by 75% of the Winner of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 and the total Prize Money of the CHAN by 32 %

The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) announced today that the Prize Money of the Winner of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 has been increased by 75% and the Winner will now receive USD 3.5 million. CAF also announced that the total Prize Money of the CHAN Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 has been increased to USD 10.4 million which is an increase of 32%.
