CAF Releases Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024 Best XI

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has announced the Best XI of the CAF Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024, highlighting the top-performing players of the tournament. The CAF Technical Study Group (TSG), which includes football analysts, coaches, and technical advisors, meticulously selected the Best XI based on players' performances throughout the competition. The Best XI features four players from debutants FC Masar, four from Champions TP Mazembe, two from runners-up AS FAR, and one from Edo Queens. In goal is FC Masar’s Habiba Sabry, whose acrobatic saves and commanding presence earned her the title of Best Goalkeeper of the tournament. Hosts Morocco drawn in tough Group A in the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024

Hosts of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (“WAFCON”) Morocco 2024, Morocco have been drawn in what is widely regarded as the toughest group of the competition: Group A. Morocco will be joined by Africa’s most improved Women’s National Team, Zambia, Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024 was conducted in Rabat, Morocco – marking a significant milestone in the countdown to next year’s premium women competition. The media accreditation application window for the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 is officially open. The accreditation window will close on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. The eighth edition of the  TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship will take place in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania between 01 – 28 February 2025. The finals will be contested by nineteen (19) African nations made up of the three host nations (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania), three qualified nations from each of CAF’s six Zonal Unions, as well as a single slot reserved for the best performing nation from the CECAFA region.
