NDC Congratulates NPP on Peaceful Presidential Primaries, Commends Police

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on the successful organization of its presidential primaries, describing the process as peaceful and well-conducted. In a statement issued in Accra on Saturday, February 1, 2026, and signed by the party’s National Chairman, Hon. Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah, the NDC acknowledged the emergence of former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the NPP’s presidential candidate for the December 2028 general elections. Asiedu Nketia assures party faithfuls of more jobs

Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has encouraged party faithfuls and residents of Keta to hold on to their faith if they are yet to receive appointment or a job from the current Mahama-led administration. He said the party was just a few months old in government and needed time to reset the country in various sectors for employment.
