President Mahama shares joy as he marks 67th birthday in Accra

President John Dramani Mahama marked his 67th birthday on Saturday with a heartwarming gesture, spending the day uplifting young patients and their families at two healthcare facilities in Accra.

Accompanied by his wife, Lordina Mahama, and their children, the President visited the LEKMA Hospital and the Maamobi Polyclinic. During the visits, he presented gifts, assorted essential items, and cash donations to children receiving treatment as well as their parents.

The thoughtful birthday outreach sparked moments of joy across the wards, leaving smiles on the faces of young patients and drawing deep appreciation from families who commended the President for his kindness.

While at LEKMA Hospital, President Mahama arranged the referral of a young girl to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) to receive further medical care, reinforcing his commitment to supporting the nation’s most vulnerable.

In addition to encouraging the patients, the President expressed gratitude to the medical staff of both facilities for their dedication and service. He also presented monetary gifts to the teams as a token of appreciation.

Healthcare workers at LEKMA Hospital and the Maamobi Polyclinic thanked the President for recognising their efforts and for choosing to spend such a special personal milestone with patients under their care.
