The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with an incident of unlawful damage involving an arson attack at Oyarifa Anointed Down in the Greater Accra Region.
The suspects have been identified as Jennifer Mae Tomlinson, a Canadian national, and her Ghanaian boyfriend, Mohammed Issah. Their arrests followed police investigations into a fire outbreak that completely destroyed an apartment they were occupying as tenants.
According to preliminary police investigations, the suspects allegedly deliberately set the apartment ablaze on 23rd December 2025, resulting in the total destruction of the property. Police say the act was carried out without any apparent provocation.

Both suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with ongoing investigations. The Police Command has indicated that they will be arraigned before court to face charges in accordance with the law.
The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring public safety and bringing perpetrators of criminal acts to justice.
