NACOC intercepts 73 slabs of suspected cocaine at Swiss Port, KIA 

Officials of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, intercepted a cargo being packaged for shipping at the Swiss Port at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), Accra, containing concealed substances suspected to be cocaine and destined for The Netherlands.  

The NACOC in a statement said a total of 73 slabs with a weight of 89.74 kg were uncovered.  

“Four suspects have been picked up and are currently in custody at NACOC whilst investigations are underway way,” the statement said.
